Artists International Association (AIA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating an international network of artistic, educational, and cultural opportunities for young musicians.

By bringing together competitions, festivals, orchestras, educational institutions, publishers, and cultural partners, AIA promotes artistic excellence, international collaboration, cultural exchange, and the professional development of the next generation of artists.

Through its projects and partnerships, AIA connects talented young musicians with internationally recognised teachers, orchestras, composers, and performance opportunities, helping them take the next steps in their artistic journey.

 

AIA Young Artists Network

The AIA Young Artists Network is an expanding international platform that connects competitions, festivals, orchestras, conservatories, educational institutions, publishers, and cultural organisations. Together, these partners create a pathway for young musicians through education, performance, artistic exchange, and international mobility.

Our flagship projects

• BIYAC – Barcelona International Young Artists Competition
An international competition that discovers and supports exceptional young violinists from around the world. Beyond the competition itself, BIYAC offers performance opportunities, orchestral collaborations, special prizes, and connections with international artistic partners.

• Calafat Festival & Academy
An international summer academy and festival combining advanced musical training, masterclasses, chamber music, orchestral projects, and public performances in a unique Mediterranean setting, fostering artistic growth and cultural exchange.

• Camerata Festival Orchestra
An international chamber orchestra bringing together outstanding professional musicians to mentor and perform alongside emerging talents, offering young soloists invaluable orchestral experience and professional concert opportunities.
