The Calafat Festival 2025, in its first edition, is an initiative of the Artists International Association (AIA) to be held in Calafat, Tarragona, from July 26 to August 2, 2025.
This event combines high-level masterclasses with three public concerts, aiming to strengthen the musical education of young violinists and promote classical music in the national territory, with an international focus thanks to the participation of Andrey Baranov, an expert of the highest caliber, recognized worldwide for his technique and career as a soloist and pedagogue.
Applications are now open for a limited cohort of 10 students.
Application Fee: €50, payable upon registration.
Course Fee: €230, payable at the start of the course.

July 26-29: Andrey Baranov, a Swiss violinist of international prestige and winner of the 1st prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition, will conduct four days of masterclasses focused on advanced techniques for students at a superior level. July 30-August 2: Oksana Solovieva Borzhimskaya, violinist, president of AIA and a member of Barcelona Opera Theater Liceu, will lead thee days of specialized sessions on orchestral excerpts, focusing on strategies and methods for a professional approach that prepares advanced students for auditions and orchestral careers.
